To Whom It May Concern,
We acknowledge the receipt of the cease and desist letter dated June 15, 2024, from GO Transit concerning the alleged infringement of their trademarked brand. We understand the importance of protecting intellectual property rights and the concerns raised by GO Transit.
After careful consideration, Go Calgary must regrettably inform you that we have no immediate intention to comply with the demands outlined in your correspondence. The principal reason for this decision is not a lack of resources or capacity, but rather a profound and pervasive sense of laziness and slovenliness within our organization.
Rebranding would require significant effort, including the overhaul of marketing materials, digital assets, and customer communications. Frankly, the motivation to undertake such a task is conspicuously absent among our team. The inertia that defines our operational ethos renders us distinctly uninclined to initiate the extensive process required to address these trademark concerns.
We hope you can appreciate our candidness and understand that our organizational culture is not conducive to the kind of proactive change your letter demands. Nevertheless, we are open to further dialogue to explore potential accommodations or compromises that might satisfy both parties without necessitating substantial effort on our part.
We appreciate your understanding and patience in this matter.
Sincerely,
Richard Jabroni, Esq.
